Funding
Alliance Stimulator Grants
The Alliance provides seed funding to research group leaders at Alliance Institutions for newly established joint research projects. The Alliance Stimulator Grants support innovative interinstitutional projects, transfer/translation projects as well as interdisciplinary projects (e.g., between the life sciences/biomedicine and the social sciences/humanities) and are awarded in two categories with different aims: (1) interinstitutional collaborations, (2) international visibility. The grants are expected to be drivers of innovative projects and the basis for subsequent third-party funding.
Application to the Alliance Stimulator Grants
Application is open to Members of Alliance institutions in Heidelberg and Mannheim only.
Call is now closed; the next call will open in March 2025.
